Penalties for Marijuana Cultivation
If you are found growing marijuana on your land, you can be charged with a felony offense and face the following penalties:
- Up to $50,000 fine
- Minimum prison sentence of two years
For a second or subsequent offense, the penalties increase:
- $100,000 fine
- Minimum four years in prison

Oklahoma law also stipulates that you can be charged for simply allowing someone else to grow pot on your property. The state has determined that landowners have a duty to destroy any marijuana plants they discover growing on their land, and failure to do so can result in the heavy taxation of your property.
