Schedule V drugs include many prescription drugs that cannot be used or owned without the necessary medical justification from a doctor. This includes:
- Pregabalin, typically used to treat Fibromyalgia.
- Drugs that contain codeine
- Drugs that contain small amounts of opium
Illegal possession of a Schedule V drugs is a misdemeanor, and punishable with a fine of up to $1,000 or up to a year in jail. If a motor vehicle is involved, a conviction could also cause a loss of your Oklahoma driver’s license.
