Oklahoma Statute section 21-650.4 states that the term “medical care provider” applies to the following:
- Doctors
- Interns
- Residents
- Nurses
- Aides to nurses
- Lab Technicians
- Radiologic Technicians
- Chaplains
- Hospital Volunteers
- Medical Students
- Ambulance attendants/operators
- Paramedics
- Emergency medical technicians
- Members of hospital security forces
- Any employee working for the health care facility or independent contractors
- Members of hospital security forces
Penalties for This Crime
If convicted of this felony offense, you could face the following penalties:
- Up to two years in prison
