Oklahoma NCDD Appellate Advocacy Award

Attorney Brian Morton of the Hunsucker Legal Group received the prestigious National College for DUI Defense award for Appellate Advocacy for his work in the case of Hunsucker v. Fallin, which resulted in the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruling the new DUI laws passed by the legislature were unconstitutional. 

The Appellate Advocacy Award is given to a member of the NCDD who personifies the mission of the National College through an exceptional appellate practice dedicated to preserving the rights of the accused, with an emphasis in driving related cases.  In addition, this individual has set themselves apart in the local legal community as a premier appellate attorney with knowledge of the law and an ability to articulate it in a way matched by few others.  This individual may have preserved the rights of the accused of impaired driving in their state or at the national level.
